many of you who live in Michigan or even St. Clair County are familiar with the Blue Water Bridge. If your not, then the Blue Water Bridge is a bridge that connects Port Huron, Mi to Sarnia, Canada and is also a major import corridor to the United States. One would think that with how much money that bridge generates every year that they would be paying some sort of fees to the city of Port Huron for using its land, etc. However, that's not the case. Port Huron gets absolutely no money from the blue water bridge and its ripping not only Port Huron off but its citizens as well. if elected, Tray Smith vows to implement and push for a policy change that will require the Blue Water Bridge Authority to pay to the city of Port Huron either a monthly or yearly fee which would be equal to a certain percentage of the revenue that the bridge generates every month/year. this fee will then be used to help repair the crumbling roads that have been neglected by the current mayor for an entire decade. Its time for change and only Tray Smith can and will help pave the way for a better Port Huron.
