Voting: why it matters most this year

Since 2009, Pauline Repp has been Mayor of Port Huron and has very little to show for it. In 2016, she won the mayoral election with a whopping 4700 votes. The sad part? There's nearly 30,000 people who live in Port Huron. Perhaps, more than half of them are even registered to vote or cant register due to crimes they committed in their past which has made them ineligible to vote. Why is it so important this year? Because if I can get more people to vote this year then that will help pave the way in the years to come in which will allow more convicted felons who reside in Port Huron the opportunity to vote with policy changes i plan to implement if elected mayor. However, i can only pave the way if YOU get out there and vote.
